Introduced in Twilio's September 15, 2026 unified content policy merging 10DLC and Toll-Free rules: Error 30556 rejects forms that bundle SMS consent with Email, WhatsApp, or Phone/Voice call consent in a single checkbox.
Why DCA Reviewers Trigger Error 30556
- A single checkbox reads 'I agree to receive emails, phone calls, and text messages from Acme Corp'.
- Users cannot opt into email or phone calls without also opting into SMS.
